The Tocqueville in All of Us

I'd like to draw everyone's attention to a remark made yesterday by Mayor Bloomberg. The New York Sun, a popular, though small, paper with a conservative, pro-Israel spin to it, announced that it may have to cease its production, "if it is not successful if raising significant new capital." Many of the city's leaders voiced their concerns upon hearing this including Mayor Bloomberg who said, "The more voices we have the better the public is informed and the better the democracy." Small, but noteworthy.
