7/10
today was incredible for so many reasons: 1) i had the toughest ride of my life. 2) rode 90 miles and climbed 8,000 ft. climbed for almost the entire time. 3) descended into canyons (more pictures to follow) and climbed up roads that were just as steep and curvy as the ones i descended. 4) saw scenery that blew my mind
we left tonto national park, entered and left the san carlos apache reservation and entered and left the white mountain apache reservation. tonight we're sleeping in show low, az and the surrounding area is the sitgreave national forest.
wow! i'm so exhausted but also so thankful that i was able to finish today's ride and see the beautfiul sites. the rolling hills and spectacular canyons were well worth the pain.
